  3. This disk contains over 350+ PC games, game files, etc.
  4. Open the "PC" directory to view the 19 game categories.
  5. Open the category directories to view/play/browse the games.
  6.  
  7. Register and receive information about special offers and 
  8. upgrades!  Use the enclosed registration card or the file "Register.txt".
  9.  
  10. Note: some of the games are shareware and require that
  11. you send a payment to the game author if you decide to 
  12. keep and use a game past the shareware trial period.
  13.  
  14. Finding out about the games (beyond browsing the directories).
  15. We have provided an indexed TextWare database that allows you
  16. to read about the games, find out about their authors, shareware fee,
  17. rating, location on the CD-ROM, and search for any text.  Ratings are
  18. from 1 (bad) to 10 (great).

  21. Getting Started (using the TextWare Index):
  22.  
  23.     The batch file in the PC directory will get you started.
  24.     Steps required:             
  25.         1. You must be in the drive that contains the CD.
  26.             (Do this by typing the letter that is the CD drive,
  27.             E.G. type "E:"
  28.             where E is the letter assigned to your CD drive.)
  29.         2. Type "cd \pc" to get into the PC directory.
  30.         3. type "FunHouse"
  31.             This is a batch file that starts TextWare.
  32.         4. Hints and tips:
  33.             * press the escape key to get past the first screen.
  34.             * press F1 for on-line help.
  35.             * The data starts with an Introduction on card 1 
  36.                (type:  "CARD 1"  or "CARD 2")
  37.             * press the escape key to back out of an operation.
  38.         5. For more detailed help, type "TWDOC". This batch file will
  39.             run TextWare with the on line TextWare Manual.
